AUCKLAND, Last Night,
.Following"the discovery of plagued rats in the Queen Street cellars, two restaurants have been closed by order of the authorities, to enable them to be thoroughly disinfected, and made rat proof. One will be re-open-ed for business on Monday. The lessee had permission to re-operi this evening, but he preferred to take advantage of the temporary closing to have a complete renovation made. The Health Officer does not anticipate any fresh cases, as the plague season almost invariably ends in June.
