ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.
Rumours are being persistently cifoulated that tilie boundaries of both j the Master-ton and Wairarapa eleo-i torates will undergo important J changes as the result of the recent ; census. One rumour is-to the.'effect I that Eketahuna will be placed in the .Pahiatua electorate, that Carterton will come into Master-ton, and -that portions of the Hutt Valley will be j included in the Wairarapa. It is, of j course, possible that such changes | will be made. In view of the small j movement in population in the W'ai- i rarapa, Masterton and Pahiatua electorates, however, 'and in the light of the disturbance which would result over the licensing question, such a proposition as that indicated can hardly be seriously discussed. When the Boundaries Oom-misision- ; gets to work-'there--"may- be 'some" 'room for speculation.
