PALMERSTON STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) PALMERSTON in., Las* Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:— At our PaJmerston North sale on Thursday, the 18tih ins*., a good yarding of sheep oame forward, but the demand was very limited, and the bidding at auction ■ was practically lifeless. A fair amount of business was done after the sale, and the bulk of the entry changed hand® at the following quotations:— Store wethers, lis 3d; mixed aged ewes in lamb, 9s 6d; forward empty ewes, 8s 9d ; store lambs, 5s to 6s, Id; light fat cows, £5 2s 6di; store cows, £2 10s to £3 ss; 2-year heifer in calf, £o 12s 6d.
