T. KENNEDY MAGDONALD IN CUSTODY.
T. Kennedy Maedonald appeared before the Supreme Court in Wellington on Saturday in custody, under a writ of attachment for failing to pay £3264 5s 9d in connection with"' the Greenfield estate. An affidavit \ws put in. by Dr Haslop, showing that Maedonald presented symptoms which showed that he was suffering from a, chrdnic form, of BrigWfc'is disease, and if he were committed to prison a large amioxnrfc,of worry and mental distress would be occasioned. Dr 'Collins supported this affidavit. Miter lengthy legal s,rgument,aMaodonaW was ordered t® be kept in the custody of the Sheriff- until Tuesday, to enaMe him to be further medically examined.
