The announcement which the Acting- | Minister of Finance (Hon. J. A. j MilLar) made at Ihinedin last night 00/iuaerning the finances of tlie Dominion is satisfactory reading. Possibly the most- pleasing intelligence contained in the ispeech is that, the revenue increased in the year iby over £1,000,000 as compared with the previous year.
