PURITY IN GRASS-SEEDS.
As the season for grass-iSieeding (it at hand, it is well that agriculturists should pay some regard to the purity and vitality of the seeds thej purchase. To select seed because i. happens to be "cheap," is to count serious financial loss. The farmei would do well to test the germinating power of seed before purchiasiHg it. The focaly-dressed article is, as a rule, the safest to buy, as importe seed does not always give the same results. During recent years the purity of farm seeds has greatly improved. There is still, however, much to guard against.
