THE SOLAR ECLIPSE.

Mr Clement VVragge, who is one of the most in the Hemisphere, appears to have secured a magnificent view of tho solar eclipse from Levuka Island. The details published this morning make interesting reading. They reveal phenomena of a most striking character, and there is little wonder that the Natives of the island took fright and rushed into their houses. The development of the photographs of the eclipse will be awaited with interest by New Zealanders.
