MORRIS TUBE CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of t-lio Mastoid ton Morris Tube Club was bald in the Dominion Hall on Thursday night, a fair muster of members being present. Feeling reference was made io the death of Mr H. 11. Holmes, who was patron and a staunch supporter of the Club since its inception. A motion of condolence to Mrs Holmes; was passed, and the Secretary was also asked to convey to Mrs Holmes the members' appreciation of Mr Holmes' past services. Tho balanco sheet showed the Club to be in a. sound condition, a sum of £3 4s od bei"g carried forward from last yr>nr. Thp liabilities wero shown as nil. and the assets as £l7 6s lid. The prospects of a successful season are very bright., and shooting will be commenced'in the motor garage on the 16th inst. Officers were elected as follows: — Patron, Dr. Cook; President, Mr 0. N.. C. Pragnell; Vice-Presidents. Messrs J. M. Coradine, T. Evans, J. Smith, and R. J. King; Captain, E. Perry; Secretary and Treasurer, H. Perry; Auditor, C. Perry. The following were elected honorary members in recognition of tliei■• services to the Club: —Messrs D. Wilton, A. Henderson, Gardiner and Sons, and E. W. Mills. It was left in the hands of tho Execritive Committee to get rifles and if necessary new tubes, and fit up the range by the ope'iin;:. date.
