DESTRUCTIVE FIRE.
ENORMOUS DAMAGE DONE. (Received May 2, 2.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 1. At Bangor ,in,the State of Maine, a fire caus?d damage to the extent of a million dollars. Two persons are known to have J been killed and several firemen are missing. Fifty people were injured. Thousands are homeless.
