It is about time that the Government of New* Zealand asked its trade representative for some definite account of his stewardship. At latest accounts this remarkable personage was making "preliminary investigation of the plans for the PanamaPacific Exposition," and was telling Uncle Sam that he should hustle to get things in readiness for the opening of the show. Meanwhile, New Zealanders are anxious that Mr J. Graham Gow should do a little "hustling" for the Dominion. .What his services have been worth to this country during the several years that he has been circumnavigating the, earth, nobody in, particular seems to» know.
