In New Zealand about 60 per cent of the sun's diameter will be seen to be obscured by th« moon's shape, so that the phenomenon will be well marked and highly interesting. The eclipse begins at 7.27J a.m., greatest pbtise 8.25., and final contact 9.28 a.m.
