EDUCATION RESERVE.
AND THE LAND BOARD.
It was resolved by the Wellington, , Land Board on Thursday that the Commissioner be "granted discretionary power in cases which he considers urgent, or which, in his opinion, it is desirable to deal with promptly, to approve on behalf of the Board , transfers (including statutory recomanendations to the. Minister), mortgages, titles, sub-leases, conversions ■oi tenure, and any other dealings which, in the ordinary course require the approval of the Board; every such approval by the Commissioner to be reported to the Board at its first subsequent meeting, this to apply to both Crown lands and educational reserves.
