LATE COMMERCIAL.
CREYTOWN SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly ,sale in their Greytown yards yesterday, when they offered a fair yarding of sheep, and the cattle entry comprised a good line of dairy heifers, which, however, did not reach the vendors' reserve. Considering the wet weather prevailing, a good number of buyers attended, and we have to report a satisfactory sale. We quote as follows: Shorn lambs (inferior sorts) 2s 7d to 3s 6d; shorn lambs (better sorts) to ss; woolly lambs, 6s 7d to 7s 3d; 2-tooth wethers, (poor sorts) 6s 6cl to 9s 6d.
