VALEDICTORY.
TO MR G. A. DONOVAN
Mr G. A. Donovan, a well-known and popular young settler,' of Kopuaranga, who is about to leave for Gisborne, was entertained by the settlers of the district at a social last evening. There was a large gathering, including Mr A. W. Hogg, M.P., and a mimber of citizens of Masterton. Our report of the proceedings, which lasted until the early hours of this morning, is unavoidably held over.
