MELBOURNE, April 4
The Baptist Congress adopted a resolution expressing hearty sympathy with tlie workers in the Commonwealth and New Zealand in their just aims and aspirations for a fair distribution of wealth and greater equality and opportunity and better conditions of living. Another resolution
favoured tlie fostering of international amity -and goodwill, viewing with disappointment and alarm the amazing multiplication of armaments by the great Powers. Every Baptist minister in the Commonwealth and New Zealand was asked to read this resolution from the pulpit.
