SUICIDE WHILE INSANE.

AUCKLAND, Last Night. An inquest was held on Peter Hill, who was killed at Parneii tunnel. The evidence revealed the fact that deceased had left a letter, which read as follows:—"I am going mad. I don't think I have slept an hour each night for three weeks." The medical testimony showed indications of Lysol poisoning. The jury returned a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane, death being caused by a dislocated vertebrae.
