THE RECIPROCITY AGREEMENT.

Speaking at Hamilton, Ontario, Mr Clifford- Sifton said that reciprocity with the United States would mean that Canada would hare to relinquish her present powerful position in {lie British markets in order to compete in the United States markets. The Americans would then capture the British market*. NEW YORK, March 25. Senator Cummins intends proposing amendments to the Reciprocity. Bill, when Congress resumes, in order to secure the free admittance from Canada of certain manufactures' which will benefit"the farmers.
