MEETING OF COMMITTEE

.'-.Thte monthly meeting bf the. Committee of the Master ton Borough Council' was held last evening, there being present:' His Worship the 4 ' Mayor (Mr J. M. Coradme), Crs. W. Morris, J. Prentice, J. C. Ewington, W. Pragnell, T. G. Hoar, F. W. Temple, and J. Elliott. Mr C. A. A letter was received from the Marine- Department, .forwarding a copy of the Harbour Amendment Act, 1910, and three copies of an Order in Council making regulation, s for the election of members of Harbour Boards, together with three ! copies of an Order in Council ap- ; pointing the principal authorities in the case of combined districts. The Mayor stated that Mr R. Brown had been appointed returning ofliMK- for the Harbour Board 1 election, and he applied for a small imprest grant for travelling expenses.* - ■•-v ■
