A NOVEL CHANGE.
•There is a- slight anomaly about.the! •proposed new railwaylime-t'a?ble. T'h& early morning train from Cross' Creek is abandoned because it does', not, pay axle grease. The early train from Wellington is refused. But it is found quite conivenient to start a train ait 4.45 a.m., so that it can connect with the Wairarapa train at WoodVille. This Palmerston connection was never asked, for, and- will be .a useless and costlv affair. o:
