MONTHLY MEETING. V ' The monthly meeting or the Mastertoii Trust Lands Trust was held last evening, there being present:— Messrs T. Wagg (chairman.), R. Krahaigeiii, W. H. Jackson, 0. Pragnell, E. G. Eton, T. B. Michell, and C.E. Daniell. An apology for absence was received from Mi 1 H. C. Rolrnson. A 'letter was received from F. Waldegra.ve, Department of Justice, stating that the question of the right of way alongside of the constaible'is residence in." Hall Street lxad not yet been considered. Dr J. A. Cottie and others wrote complaining of the noise made by the- engine used by picture companies .'at the .Town HalL - They stated that tlie noise on. osae occasion was -yueli that it prevented ordinary conversation! im houses in. tlie vicinity of the' ball.— It was decided to

Letters from Harold Aston, J. W. Blackmail, aod Grfeenchields and Co., concerning the lighting of the Town Hall,, were referred to the Lighting Committee, who will report to a special meeting of the Trust to be galled by the chairman. The Treasurer reported! rate® collected: during the past inonlthi to amount to £146 19s, and Town Hall account £3B 10s ; total, £lB5 9s. Accounts aaiiouniting to £243 16s 5d wen© passed for payment. A solicitor's account amounting to aibout £25 was left in the hands of the chairman and secretary to report on.
