SYDNEY, March 6. Tlis 100 yards swimming championship of New South Wales resulted in a win ' for Healy, with Longworth second and Hill tnird. It was a great race, and was won by a touch in lmin. Half-mile Champion ship.— .Longworth 1, Healy 2, Wright 3. Won by sixty yards. Time, llmin. 31 sec.

: WELLINGTON PROVINCIAL 1 CHAMPIONSHIP. [Bu Telegraph—Press Association.'] WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Provincial Championship swimming meeting was held yesterday, under, unfavourable conditions. Following were the results:— 100 yards.—C. Brice . (Thorndon) 1, M. C. Btranger (Wellington) 2, B. C, Freyberg (Swifts) 3. Three others started. Won by a foot, inches between second and third. Time, 6min. 4 ,4.-ssec. 44.0 Yards.— B. C. Freyberg (Swifts 1 ) 1, R. Healey (Thorndon) 2., The only st&rters. Freyberg took, the lead ■ from the start, and never appeared to be really pushed, winning by about seven yards, lime 6mm. 3sec. The Clyde Quay school retained the Duthie Cup for the 200 yards relay race, which thsy have held since the presentation of the trophy some six years ago.
