(Received Last Night, 9.50 o'clock.) THE WARATAH INQUIRY. LONDON, February 24. The Shipping Gazette, commenting upon the finding in regard to the Waratah, states that while the Court apparently believed tTiat the owners' evidence was less complete than it might have been, it must be remembered that owners, in .such cases, were facing a position of considerable difficulty. There was always the question of legal responsibility to be considered. This was, perhaps, an inevitable result. It was impossible to suppose, however inconclusive the verdict, that the moral of the case would be altogether lost upon naval architects, shipbuilders, and ship-owners.
