A Sydney cable, received this morning, stated that Prince Leopold, who had ai*rived by the Senorita, was making satisfactory progress. Mr Robert Fletcher was last night re-elected chairman of the Wellington Harbour Board. . Major T. W. McDonald, who was in Masterton yesterday, returns to Wellington this morning. The Prince of Wales, who has been suffering from an attack of measles, is now convalescent. —Press Association. Dr. Prior, of Masterton, has gone on a health-recruiting trip to Auckland. Dr. Reid is acting as his locum tenens. The Rev. A. and Mrs Hodge, who have been attending the Congregational conference in Dunedin, returned to Masterton last evening. The Rev. C. H. Olds and Mr C. E. Daniell left Masterton yesterday for Christchurch to attend the Methodist Conference. The business will probably last a fortnight. , The 1 Masterton Methodist Circuit has invited the Rev. S. J. Serpell to minister in the Masterton Circuit iuring the next term. The Rev. Mr SerI pell has been in charge of the WelI lington City Circuit (Taranaki Street) I for the past four years, where his services were much appreciated.
