FIVE PERSONS INJURED. By Telegraph — Press Association PALMERSToFn,, Last Night. A serious :motor accident»occurred at Taikiiahuna this evening. A party was driving along a level road in a large car. When ttrying to avoid an approaching vehicle ithe oar went oh to the grass at the, side of the road, and overturned twice, and the occupants fell out. Mr Symonds fractured 1 a bone of his left forearm, and his right arm was badly lacerated. Miss Symonds fractured her right collarbone. Mr Colin McKenzie (creamery manager at Glen Oroua) smashed his right shoulder, and Mrs McKenzie (his wife) sustained a fracture of the right shoulder joint. G. Kenua.u received 1 a severe scalp wound, and is suffering.' from shock. The latter was taken to his house at Oroua Bridge, while the. other four were brought into the Palmerston North Hospital.
