THE FEDERAL NOTE ISSUE.
A VICTORIAN LOAN. (Received Last Night, 11.40 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, February 8. The Federal Government is offering £1,000,000 for a public Avorks loan to the Victorian Government at 3£, per cent out of the Federal Notes Trust Fund. The Hon. A. Fisher states that the same terms are available for the other Australian States requiring accommodation.
