SUICIDE AT PAHIATUA.

PAHIATUA, January 30
A sensation was caused in. town, this morning when it was ascertained that Francis E. Storey, tailor, son of a former licensee of the Terminus Hotel, Christchurch, and who was in business here, had committed suicide. The body was found at ten o'clock in the Mangatainoka river, with a bullet woulid under the right ear. It had only trousers and boots on; the legs were tied just above the boots. Tin? other clothes were on the bank. A fivo-chamber-cd revolver was found in" the river close to the body, one chamber being empty, the others full. Deceased was last seen early in the morning in town.
