At the Postal Conference, Mr, Thomas announced that" from; March Ist the- post. offices throughout the Commonwealth would close at six o'clock at night, but arrangements* would be made for the principal offices to despatch at later hours to meet each locality. No alteration will be made in the facilities for the despatch of Press telegrams.
