Victoria have no wickets down for seven runs. Armstrong took 3 wickets for 55 runs, Matthews 3 for 85, Laver 2 for 70, Kyle 2 for 90. The weather was fine but the wicket was a bit soft. Bardsley played a chanceless innings, i and McElhone a brilliant punishing innings. Macartney contributed another, "duck."
