FIREWORKS DISPLAY.

IN MASTERTON PARK. The fireworks display given in" the Masterton iublic Park last evening, as a sequel to the aquatic sports, was an unbounded, success. The fireworks were manipulated by Mr H. A. Bickerton, of Christchurch, who is the manufacturer. Many of the creations in illumination were highly artistic; and were loudly npplauded. Prior, to the display, a moving picture exhibition was given hy Mr. S. Pearsolf. It is estimated that nearly.two thousand persons were on the ground.
