MASTERTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.

MONTHLY MEETING OP COUNCIL. The rnonthiy mseting of the Council of the MasterWv Chamber of Commerce was hold in Murray's Hall yesterday afternnon, there being present Messrs F. W. Carey (chairman), C. E. Daniell, E. H. Waddington, A. Henderson, G. W. Sellar, G. C. Summerell, R. Brown, C. Graham, and W. B. Chflnnells. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs M. Caselberg, Moodie, Chamberlain and Keith. ' The 'Treasurer reported' a: credit balance to date of £7 16s 1. Mr J. D. Cruickshank wrote tendering his resignation as a member of the Council. —On the motion of the chairman, seconded by Mr Summerell, the resignation of Mr Cruickshank was received with regret, and it was decided to place on record the services rendered by Mr Cruickshank to the Chamber.
