THE TOWN HALL.

ANOTHER SUGGESTION. "Asquith" writes as follows to tho Ag(!: —"I am delighted to notice that Masterton's popular orator, Mr H. C. L. Robinson, has engaged the Town Hall for Friday ,night next. Could not the occasion-be made use of by charging for admission ? When Mr Robirison's English contemporary orator, Mr Lloyd George, is announced to speak, some of the scats of the build-?, ing in which he is to speak are sold for as high as £o, and on many occasions £SO would be willingly given by those desirous of hearing Mr Lloyd George, could room be found for them. I cannot,, for the life of me, see why Masterton people should not pay for their oratory (the Trust Lands Trustees aro paying in this instance by giving Mr 1 Robinson the free use of the Hall), and T make this suggestion feeling sure the public of Masterton will willingly fall in with it, and by this | moans raise sufficent money to pay off tho debt on tho Town Hall'."
