This is the attractive'sign which the Cathedral City is just now exhibiting. A telegram received yesterday from Christchurch -intimated that residents in North, Island centres are at present sending their washing to Southern laundrifes; They liave a peculiar penchant for washing dirty' linen, the City of the<J^ains; but it is somewhat remarimble that their local supply should.be insufficient.
