WAIHARAPA RACING CLUB.
SECOND DAY.
The attendance of the public was again satisfactory, the racing track" in fine order,' and the arrangements capably carried out. The racing was very interesting, and as only two first favourites .won during the afternoon, hackers did not find the task of securing winners an easy one. Lady Islington . attended in the afternoon, and was an interested spectator of four events. Music was supplied by members of the Wellington Professional Orchestra. Eight bookmakers were. licensed, and the sum of £5682 was put trough the totalisator. Results: — JUVENILE HANDICAP, 140sovs., five furlongs.
