It is. satisfactory, to note that the ■agitation stftis<i>d : in Masterton in regard to the registration of the brands on wool-bales has already borne fruit. .A committee of the House of Representatives, to whom the matter was referred, has decided to recommend, an amendment to tlie Patent, Designs and Trade Marks Act, so as to raider the registration of such a brand, being the name of a places farm or registration. When such a registration is effective,'there can be little doubt that it will be promptly availed of.
