MAURICEVILLE SPORTS.

The weather was fine and there was a large attendance at the Mauriceville sports on Monday, and Mr C. Brooks, the secretary, had things well in hand. The refreshment booth was conducted by Mr Koigard and did a good business. The fruit stall also did a flourishing trade under the guidance of Mr Fisher. Mr Ben Brodie, of Masterton, had charge of the soft drinks booth, and all seemed to be doing a flourishing business. The results of tho sports were as follows : 100 Yards (professional). —W.
