JHQMPSON-PAyNE PICTURES. | The eurre'it programme -at the Foresters'" Hall -again-drew a large audience last evtning, the pictures j being greatly appreciated. The films are shown with marked distinctness; supplemented by the absence of vibration, thui assuring the most de siiable attributes to the proper screening olthe subjects submitted. Of the dramas last evening the favourites were—"The Call to Arm 9," and "The Way of the Keel Man." The former is a pathetic study dealing with a period inany„centunes ago. The acting was capital and the photography ecxellenf. "The Way of the Ked Man" is "an exciting Wild West story, showing how an Indian revenged himself upon a white man who stole his wife. A splendid picture depicted the race for i the Melbourne Cup. Each feature of ] the great event is clearly shown, while excellent views are to be obtained of the grandstand, lawn, saddling paddock arid the famous "Fleniington Flat." The comica were a capital lot, while the scenics are also a ring'series. The present programme will be shown for the last time this evening. Amongst' the films to be presented to-morrow night is a grand American Bi graph Company drama, entitled. "Little Angel of Luck." This picture is supported by a thrilling Indian story,"Mazeppia." a cowhoy drama, "The Girl of Triple X Ranch," and an exciting detective picture, "The Theft of the Diamonds."
