MASTERTON HOSPITAL COMMITTEE.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Masterton' Hospital. and Charitable Aid Committee was : held on Tuesday mornings there, being present Messrs J. B. Keith (chairman), H. O'Leary, W. Fisher, W." Morris, J. C. Ewmgton, and Mrs Cairns. The Treasurer reported a credit baance at date in connection with charitable aid of £2lO 7s" 9d.
The list of recipients of charitable aid was considered, and applications from two families for relief were favourably -considered.-
Accounts in connection with'charitable aid and the Solway Home, aggregating £45 6s were- passed for payment. ,- ; Tenders for supplies for the year 1911 were passed, and relegated to a sub-committee consisting of the chairman, Messrs EwThgton and 0 .~»eary-, with power to act. Leave, of absence was. granted to Mr Murray Jackson in connection with the Hospital Committee. The' Treasurer's, report showed re'"v&ipts;for the month amounting to "£394 Is 7d, and expenditure to £213 19s 2d. A credit balance was shown at date of £405 ±<s lid. Accounts amounting to £lOl 7s lOd were passed for payment. Mr J-. B. Keith , was appointed visiting ■ for the month.
