WOMEN SUFFRAGE.
Mr Lloyd-George is no o the Democrat some people would suppose him to be. He was recently deputationised by the women suffragists, and stated most emphatically that he was not in sympathy with their movement. Evidently he is afraid of the women. is coming, however, wlien'' the franchise in the United Kingdom will be liberalised. If the Liberal Government will not effect a reform, it will be replaced by a Government which will. The days of plural voting are numbered.
