MURDER OF A LAWYER. Keceived December 14, 8.5 a m. NEW Y'JKK, December 13. Wathan B. Hyde, an ex-member of the New Yoik Bar, and recently Wisconsin ?tnte • cmmissioner, was found murdered in His residence! at Chicago. A crowbar had been used to fracture, his sku.l. Kobh'ery was apparently the motive of the crime. * A WOMAN SHOT. Received December 14, 8.15 a m. NEW XOKK. December J3. William Baker, a telegraphist, of Detroit, shot a woman named Katherine Devine with a revolver, and then committed suicide. ttakpr wrote in a notebook: "Reason for it all-see Kipiit.g's "Epilogue on Reg and Bone and a Hank of Hair."
