WAIRARAPA v. MANAWATU. Word was received in Masterton on Saturday evening that Masterton had been drawn as the ground upon which to play the first round match for the Lord Hawke Cup, between Manawatu and Wairarapa. It was formerly decided that the ground should be decided by mutual agreement between the teams concerned, but both referred the matter to the New Zealand Cricket Council to be drawn for. The dates, cet .down for the match are 16th and 17th December, on the. Park Oval. The winner of this match"-plays the winner of the North v. A meeting of the Association will be held in the Age office at 8 p.m. to-morrow, to make final arrangements for the match, and most likely the team will be picked.
