The home team's innings closed for 195, Kelleway 26 being the only additional scorer of note. For South Australia Wright secured 5 for 75, and Chamberlain 2 for 18. South Australia made 342 in their first innings, and have four wickets down for 202 in their second attempt, Clem Hill not out 90, Dolling 67, and Mayne 36 being top scorers.
