"FLAPDOODLE."
* This a word which was coined some years ago. It does not appear in the standard dictionaries j but it has ■ come into such common use in Parliamentary circles that it may be accepted as part of the Dominion vocabulary. "Flapdoodle" is what a great many Parliamentarians talk. It is a cross between humbug and inanity. In the meantime its application is reserved to politicians. Presently its scope may be extended. The Chairman of Committees of the House has become so used to "flapdoodle" that he has positively refused to declare it unparliamentary-
