WOMAN HANGS HERSELF.

A painful sensation wa3 caused in Eketahuna yesterday, when it became known that Mrs Stevens, of Greytown. who wag staying with some friends in Eketahuna, had committed tuicide. Ihe body of the decease.! wa<? fpund hanging in some scrub at the back of the house. When discovered, the body was quifp cold. The deceased lady, who was forty-two years of ag?, had been brooding over the death of her husband, which occurred in June last. An inquest will be held.
