CONTAGIOUS MAMMITIS.
AND THE MASTERTON HERDS,
Enquiries made by a representative of ;fche Wairarapa Age go to show that the. complaint known as contagious maminitis, which has decimated so many dairy herds in recent years, is causing very little trouble among the herds of Masterton and the Wairarapa this season. It will interest owners in infected areas to know that a new series of experiments, with the view of obtaining information which will lead to the control of bovine con t agious mammitis, has been initiated by the Live Stock and Meat Division of the Agricultural Department.
