Mr Graham-White's challenge to Moissant, who on Sunday won £2OOO for rounding the Statue, has been refused.
Mr Graham-White's propellor snapped at the close of the speed race, an din 3 monoplane turned over. Mr White was taken cut uninjured. He was declared the winner. Moissant won the distance race, doing 87 miles in two hours.
