The South African Cricket, Association is considering the question of sending an extra man, besides Saunders, for the Australian tour.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA v. VICTORIA. Received Last Night, 5 5 o'clock. ADELAIDE, October 30. The Interstate cricket match, Victoria v. South Australia, was commenced on Saturday. In their first innings Victoria have made 11], Armstrong 35, Haylett 3 , and Layer 19, being top scorers. Whitty captured four wickets for 41 and Crawford 5 for 42, for South Australia. South Australia at present have eight wickets down for 135 runs. Rees 16, Clem Hill 26, Cham berlain 24, and Crawford 31 not out reaching double figures.

MATCHES IN DUNEDIN. DUNEDIN,.Last Night. The cricket matches were continued yesteiday in splendid weather. Albion secured a two-point win over Carisbrook A, scores being—Albion, first innings, 22 (McFarlane 75, Hiddleston 75. Duthie 73). Carisbrook, first innings, 173; second 191 for 5 wickets (L. Watson 74, not out, and Rutherford 60.

Opoho had a two-point win over Carisbrook B, the scores being— Opoho, 240; Carisbrook, 123'( H. Watson 43), and 350 for 4 wickets (Bannerman 47, not out, Drumra 45, not out). Uunedin were awarded a four-point jvin over Grange, owing to the latter having played a defaulter on a previous Saturday. The defaulter was disqualified during the pleasure of the Cricket Association.
