WOMEN'S EMPLOYMENT BUREAU.
The Labour Department has decided to open a women's employment branch in Masterton, and the following circular is being sent to employers in the district:—
By direction of the Hon. the Minister of Labour, 1 have pleasure in informing you that a registry office for women has been opened at the office of the above Department, Temple Chambers, Queen street, Masterton, and will be conducted by Miss Hodge under the direction of Mr J. Georgeson, agent foi the Department for the Wairarapa district, livery effort will be made to secure suitable employment for all women workers in every branch of industry —especially domestic servants. Prompt attention will be.given to all communications addressed to the officer in charge, and every endeavour will be made to meet the needs of employers and worker', for whom the office ia instituted.
