SYDENHAM WORKING MEN'S CLUB.
OHBISTCHURCH, Last Night. The report of Mr. Riddell, S.M., on the working and conduct of the Sydneham Wroking Men's Club has been forwarded to the Minister (the Hon. D. Buddo). In connection with certain parts of the report the Minister has written the dub, requesting certain information. The club, considering that a personal interview is more practical than correspondence, has arranged for a deputation from the club's officers to wait upon the Minister in Wellington on Saturday, when they hope to clear up what they describe as certain "misapprehensions" relating to the club, which have been mentioned in the report.
