FRUITGROWERS' FEDERATION.
HASTINGS, Last Night. At the - ruitgrowers' Conference, the chairman, in a strong address, urged the federation of Growers' Association in the Dominion, so as to control the distribution and sale of fruit. Both in their own and the interests of consumers, it' was essential that the markets should be regularly supplied, so that there would not be a glut in one place and a scarcity in another. It was resolved that a federation he formed called the. "New Zealand Fruitgrow- j ers' Federation." The meeting pro- i ceeded to discuss regulations drawn up to govern the federation. I
