CONDITION OF RUNS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 4. In the House of Representatives this afternoon, the Minister for Lands, replying to Mr Buxton, said the Government could not allow the runs in the Mackenzie Country to remain in their present position. As soon as the Committee had furnished its report to the House, the decision of the Government would he announced.
